Our take
The DDJ-SB3 is a solid entry-level controller for Serato. I like the 16 pads and the Pad Scratch feature—great for adding flair. The FX Fade and Auto Loop are handy. However, it only works with Serato DJ Lite out of the box, and there's no phono input, so you can't hook up turntables. The build feels decent for the price, but the lack of warranty is a bummer. USB power is convenient, but the 44.1 kHz sampling rate is standard. Overall, it's a good starting point for beginners, but you might outgrow it quickly.
