Our take
This gold limited edition SB3 catches the eye with its unique color, but functionally it's a standard SB3. The build is Malaysian, which feels slightly less premium than Japanese models. It lists quad deck but operates as 2 channels. The jog wheel illumination is nice, and the 16 pads are responsive. No microphone input according to specs, which is a limitation. At $266, it's a fair price for the limited edition look, but you're paying extra for the color rather than features.
