About this product
The Numark NVII is a quad deck Serato DJ controller with 8 pads, loop/sampler, mic input, phono input, and line input. It features XLR out, headphone jack, and RGB backlit buttons. Other features include pitch control, auto BPM, and rack-mountable 1U height. It has a built-in sound card and plug-and-play capability.
Our take
The NVII is a feature-packed controller for Serato users. I like the quad deck control and RGB backlit buttons for easy visibility. The built-in sound card and XLR outs are professional touches. However, the maximum sampling rate is 16-bit/44.1kHz, which is lower than competitors. The 8 pads feel limited compared to 16-pad models. Still, for $399, it offers good value.
