Our take
The DDJ-SB3 is a fantastic entry point into Serato DJing. The 2-channel layout is straightforward, and the 16 pads give you plenty of options for hot cues and loops. Build quality feels decent for the price, though it’s made in Malaysia rather than Japan. I miss having more inputs—only one mic and one phono—but for bedroom mixing it’s enough. The 44.1 kHz sampling rate is standard for this class. At $260, it’s a great value if you’re starting out and don’t need pro features.
