Our take
The DDJ-SB is a capable starter controller. I appreciate the 16 pads which are generous for its price range. The filter and loop/sampler effects are easy to use. However, the build feels cheaper than its Japanese-made siblings, and the single phono input limits flexibility. It's good for learning but not for heavy use.
